Joe Hajdu

Joe Hajdu is a cultural geographer. His academic interests have centred on what the appearance and patterns of a city tell us about the culture of the people who built it and live in it. The results of his work have appeared in books and journals in Australia, Germany, USA and Britain. Joe has been a visiting lecturer at Shiga University near Kyoto in Japan. This experience sparked his interest in Japanese culture and the cultural geography of that country. Joe is an Honorary Fellow at the Cultural Heritage Centre for Asia and the Pacific of Deakin University in Melbourne.
