Dorothy Horsfield grew up on the beaches of Newcastle on Australia's eastern seaboard. After university, she worked as a journalist, researcher and writer in Papua New Guinea, Zimbabwe, London and Berlin. She has published a novel, Dream Run, short stories and poetry. Her most recent book was a memoir of her late husband, Paul Lyneham.
