Since its establishment in April 2001, Pandanus has increased its output annually, with 35 titles in print by the end of 2003, and more than 20 titles scheduled for 2004 and 2005.

Bringing the Asia-Pacific region into focus for new audiences, Pandanus Books publishes a mix of literary fiction, memoir and biography, poetry, general non-fiction, and scholarly works, and produces a biannual literary journal, Conversations, drawing on the creative talents of the greater Canberra region.
